At the start of Kosovo's cleanup action, along with the gathering of numerous volunteers in the “Zahir Pajaziti” Square, incumbent Environment and Spatial Planning Minister Fatmir Matosi has hosted Albania's Tourism and Environment Minister Blend Klosi, who is now joining the campaign for Kosovo cleanup.
U.d. Minister Matoshi thanked Minister Klosi for his arrival and support in our cleaning campaign.
On the other hand, Minister Klosi said happy that today he is joining the Kosovo cleanup action, stressing that such action is taking place in Albania.
The official opening of the action took place at the illegal depot in the vicinity of the Hotel Garden in Pristina, attended by Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, U.d. Minister of MMPH Fatmir Matoshi, Albanian Tourism and Environment Minister Blndi Blosi, ministers, KFOR officials, activists and many citizens of the country.
In this case, it was called for cleaning up the country and awareness of citizens to protect the environment in which we live and act.
U.d. Minister Matoshi announced that in all of Kosovo's territory, we have about 100,000 volunteers doing the cleaning of the country.
After that, the cleaning activity continued in the industrial area, where the evacuation of inert waste gathered for years in the area.
The MMPH agenda is continuing with the removal of waste to Badovci Lake, then to continue at the Gjilan City cemetery and ends with the cleaning activity at the White Sea border.
The MMPH thanks all the country's citizens for their commitment to cleaning up the country and called for this mobilization to continue even in the days ahead until the country's waste cleanup.
