The suspect has opened fire at a crossroads at the Garibaldi Plaza, a tourist attraction with a lot of mariachi hearing. After the attack, the suspect escaped by motorcycle.
The Garibaldi Plaza is near the Tepito area known for drug gangs.
Tepito has faced violence over the past month because the leader of this group, Roberto Moyado Esparza, has been arrested.
