Turkish authorities often use the word “neutrified” in their statements to imply that terrorists in question either surrendered or were killed or only captured, Kosovo reports.
In a Twitter statement, the military said Akdogan, who was part of the Interior Ministry's list, was neutralised in Friday's air strike in the Avasin-Basian region.
The Interior Ministry's list of fugitives is divided into five coloured categories, red as the most wanted, where it has even included “neutrified”.
In its more than 30-year terrorist campaign against Turkey, The PKK, marked as a terrorist organisation by Turkey, the US and the EU, has been responsible for the deaths of nearly 40,000 people, including women and children.
