Kosovo seeks Czech support for visa liberalisation process

As MIE reports, Minister Hoxha announced the chairman of the Commission for Security in the Czech Parliament, as well as the chairman of the Commission for Foreign Policy, of the comprehensive reforms undertaken for the integration process, as well as the fulfilment of all criteria for visa liberalisation, ahead with guides.
The minister stressed that Kosovo citizens expect from friendly countries such as Chekia, to recognise the achieved and enable the free movement of our citizens by supporting the vote in the Council of Ministers.
Minister Hoxha announced to the hosts of reforms undertaken in the area of migration, with particular emphasis on legislative reforms which strengthen border control, policies towards foreigners as well as asylum. Kosovo does not pose risks in terms of illegal migration, Minister Hoxha stressed, because we have all the necessary legal and institutional infrastructure.
In question, Hoxha called for Czech support, the remaining phases of the visa liberalisation process for Kosovo, and stressed that Kosovo and its citizens are awaiting this decision because it has been working since 2012.
“Coten and Zaoralek commended Minister Hoxha for the reforms undertaken and assured him that Chekia, supporting Kosovo in the integration process, as has supported in other important processes so far.
Minister Hoxha during this two-day visit will also hold other important meetings for visa liberalisation, support that has been provided in contact by Chechia”, the report said.
