Representatives of the Social Democrat Party led by Shpend Ahmeti have never met with President Hashim Thaci to discuss the Kosovo dialogue Serbia mediated by the European Union (BE). The president, Hashim Thaci, has declared he has met with opposition deputies to discuss the process he is leading, though he does not have the support.
But the deputy head of The PSD, Wisar Ymeri, told Online Economy that representatives of his party have participated only in tables organised by other parties where the dialogue was discussed, but Thaci has not met on the issue.
There was no meeting with the president by the Social Democrat Party deputies. There were political parties that we participated in, as well as civil society tables with representatives of political parties in which the Social Democrat party” was present.“All of these have been directed more or less towards the mode of a consensus concerning dialogue with Serbia”, Ymer said.
Ymer says no one has the mandate to discuss at this stage, which is being considered final with Serbia, calling Thaci's meetings with Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vucinq not legitimate and in existence.
“No one has a mandate for dialogue with Serbia, so whatever the meetings are, the meetings are not legitimate because they are not mandated by institutions and as illegal they are unacceptable and the Republic of Kosovo”. “I should consider those meetings as existing so not to accept in any way any way of anything spoken in them can be the institutional commitment of the Republic of Kosovo because no one has had a mandate to speak or let it pledge any more to specific questions”.
