Ambassador Hargrees calls the parties: Form functional institutions as soon as possible

United Kingdom Ambassador to Kosovo Jonathan Hargrees has called on political forces instead of co-operating with the functioning of institutions and continuing democratic reforms.
He has stressed that political parties should work together for the country's interest, aimed at creating a stable parliament, a functional government and a consolidated presidency, broadcast news.net.
Hargreaves' statements were made during the week at the solemn reception on the official birthday occasion of King Charles III, while they were distributed today by the United Kingdom Embassy in Kosovo.
You know that the challenges this country faces and this continent cannot expect. After 18 months of uncertainty, I believe that all here agree that political parties should work together for Kosovo's benefit to create as soon as possible a stable parliament, a functional government and a” presidency, the British ambassador has said.
He has also reaffirmed the continued support of Great Britain for Kosovo in the future.
We've been with you since the beginning and we'll be with you in the future. Of course, this future must be shaped by both the support that Kosovo receives and the confidence it inspires. Faith in sharing the same vision for the future. The belief that Kosovo is a partner others can rely on. And the belief that Kosovo will keep its word and its solemn promise if I can say so, her loyalty to preserve and protect an independent, democratic and multiethnic state”, Hargrees said.
