(a day ago)About 120 teams had travelled to a major handball tournament in Rastatt, Germany's Baden-Wurttemberg Lady, when a heavy storm caused dramatic scenes in a sports field that was also being used as a camping area.
By International mediaThe lightning struck the area, leaving eight adults injured and a 13-year-old child broadcasting Clankosova.tv.
One of the injured is in a more serious position, while the rest have suffered minor injuries.
Another lightning incident has been recorded in a sports field at Münsingen-Dottingen, where a person has remained injured, while as a result of the storm, large parts of the city of Münsingen have remained without electricity.
Meanwhile, the German Meteorological Service (DWD) has warned that new storms could occur in the coming days, though they are expected to be less intense than that of the previous day.
