We have enemies in many Western countries, you've seen what we've had with the British in recent days. We fight hard, under almost impossible conditions, to do our best for our people. We are fighting for Kosovo against 19 world nations”.
So said Serbia's President Aleksandar Vucic as he spoke today about all challenges related to resolving the Kosovo issue and the situation in the region.
The president said he would not want any conflict with Albanians or any other people. The Serbian president has referred to the 1999 bombings, saying he has not reacted in time.
“I am trying to express something good for the Serbian people, because if this trend continues, there will be no more people in Kosovo. We are trying to preserve the holy one in Kosovo. We are fighting to maintain peace for our children, because I know I have worked hard to preserve peace in the region”, he added.
He also stressed that Marko Djuric's arrest in Kosovo was a brutal provocation.
The Serbian president has also spoken of political objections from the opposition in Serbia, saying he is maintaining a policy of peace and stability that is important to the Serbian people.
I will come up with a plan if possible which the public will follow. I'm not going to work against my people and I'm not going to cheat him, he said.
He also added that there have never been any secrets and has met Albanians only in the presence of international community officials.
It seems to me that Americans for the first time have shown a desire for a solution around Kosovo, unlike some who I don't believe will. Without the world we cannot solve the problem about Kosovo”, Vucic has said. /Top Channel
