He has said this could cause suffering to citizens who, according to him, are not guilty of these events.
Bishop Teodosije has sent appeals to leaders in Belgrade and Pristina, but also to international representatives on the case of information on possible incidents in northern Kosovo that he said would have contributed to the division of Kosovo and brought suffering of innocent people.
Even Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, has been addressed to Kosovo Serbs through a letter not to take anything tomorrow when the deadline expires to draft the Association statute, as Albanians and a part of the international community would take action against them.
Under a scenario unveiled by the Orthodox Church's exhibits in Kosovo, Serbs were planning to declare their autonomy Sunday 5 August.
Priest Sava Janjiq, who has spoken publicly about this, has said there was information that the situation in the north would pass.
Vuciq in his letter says that while he is at the helm of Serbia's state, he will not allow organised violence on Serbs and religious objects or their persecution.
The Serbian head of state has also said that “s this time Pristina will not even move its finger to form the Association of Serbian municipalities”.
He has been urging Serbian citizens not to take anything, because according to him, it could use Albanians or a part of the international community as an excuse to take any action against them.
The Serbian president has said that preserving peace in Kosovo is the primary task of NATO from which he expects and requires that “maintain peace in such a way as to prevent any eventual efforts of anyone, and on any pretext that depends on the survival of Serbs”.
Vuciq has also indicated that for the sake of peace and stability, he will commit himself to peaceful solutions and compromise relations in Kosovo and will not stop until Serbs are granted more rights than they have today.
