Albert Rohan, former number two in the negotiations for Kosovo's final status, considers ideas for partition or exchange of territories between Kosovo and Serbia to be over-over and dangerous.
In a conversation to “Kahen Ditore”, the Austrian diplomat has said Kosovo has already made its compromises, acknowledging Martti Ahtisaari's Pack, on which Kosovo declared independence on February 17th 2008.
“With the acceptance of broad rights for minorities, in particular for the Serb community and the Serbian Orthodox Church, as included in the Ahtisaari Plan, as well as decentralisation of administrative competencies, Kosovo has already made its compromises”, the former deputy Ahtisaari has said.
But, according to him, reciprocity has been lacking on Serbia's part, which it says continues to have a hostile attitude towards Kosovo.
