The Social Democrat Party (PSD) has demanded that the Kosovo Assembly return to work in this situation when it is talking about partitioning Kosovo and exchange of territories. Also, this party has demanded that the resolution proposed by them be voted in as soon as possible.
This political subject has called on other political parties, especially those opposition to return the decision-making and supervision of dialogue with Serbia.
Social Democrat Party Chairman Shpend Ahmeti has expressed surprise as the Parliament has gone on vacation - saying that major developments are expected in August and September.
“It is now known that the Parliament has appointed the conclusion of the session or the spring session, which means that even that the debate we initiated as the Social Democrat Party ended without any passage of the resolution we think MPs go to a very important phase for the Republic of Kosovo, when almost all the world states are talking about possible solutions to this dialogue, the church told me about dangerous scenarios for the Republic of Kosovo, where they also talk about partitioning territories, as long as the Republic of Kosovo goes on vacation. Two meetings have already taken place between President Vucic and President Thaci and let alone that there has been no prior permission, or prior mandate, but there has been no further reporting on what has been discussed”, Ahmeti has said.
The PSD leader has also spoken of the resolution in force for normalising Kosovo-Serbia relations.
“After this resolution the leader of the dialogue process is Government and they can't remove this right or this authorization, even though the prime minister may express wishes whether he will go or not to this negotiations. It is a political necessity for our Assembly to issue a new resolution with which we want to mandate the negotiating team, to mandate the platform it negotiates with, so that the Assembly will have the political power as it belongs to”, he has said.
Subheader The PSD, Visar Ymer, said that President Thaci's meetings with Serbia's Aleksandar Vucic are private.
“Those who have been spoken in formal meetings and even in secret and secret meetings from this case -- the president of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci -- are not worth it, nor are they the obligations of the Republic of Kosovo because they have spoken and pledged whether they have pledged by a person who has no mandate or authorization from the Parliament to do so. It is extremely important that the Parliament of Kosovo will make such a statement as soon as it makes a statement in which discussions so far are cancelled, so it is declared invalid for the Republic of Kosovo because if we continue as a country of the Republic on vacation at this time when much has been intensified and the discussion on dialogue was the commitment to even meetings at this stage of dialogue, then practically the Parliament and the Republic of Kosovo can generally be introduced before an act carried out”, Ymer said.
He said that through this resolution, the Parliament decides on the agenda and the timing of talks with Serbia and requirements, platforms and knows what the dialogue starts.
The Social Democrat Party has submitted Resolution for the appointment of institutional responsibilities in the process of dialogue between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Serbia.
