It's the peak of the tourist season, but this is the view offered in many coastal areas of the country... Shezlons left empty.
It is this phenomenon that is being seen mainly in Durres, Vlora, Saranda and the most important tourist centres.
Experts say this consequence of reducing the number of local and Kosovo vacationers comes due to economic inefficiency and shifting a part towards countries offering favourable prices like Velipoja or Shengjin.
The opposite is the case with the influx of foreign tourists, they according to data are on the rise. There are many empty rooms besides the Shezlons.
