Parliament goes on vacation with only 22% of the jobs done

The Kosovo Assembly at the spring session has met only 22% of its agenda, or only 33 of the 148 bills planned for this year. Nongovernmental organisations monitoring the work of the Parliament say they expect no bigger jobs, even at the autumn session that starts in a month and a half.
The approach to work is also noted in parliamentary commissions, where 40% of the bills are not prepared at all, while there are commissions that have held only six meetings. And for this Kosovo position has blamed the opposition, which with the boycott decision is causing damage to the country.
