The greatest anger against Montenegrin military superiors, Serbian officials, but even the leaders of the Serbian Orthodox Church have shown up early last month when two Montenegrin officers were announced from Podgorica to come to Kosovo to serve in the KFOR mission.
Serbia's Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin had then said sending two Montenegrin soldiers to the KFOR peacekeeping mission in Kosovo has to do with protecting Kosovo's independence, not protecting Serbs.
He said that Podgorica's decision, without consulting Serbia, “is not a friendly act”.
Today, the chief of Serbian diplomacy Ivica Dacic has also been nervous with Montenegrin officers, who yesterday, according to the Belgrade newspaper “blic”, attended the 23rd anniversary of the Croatian operation “Oluja” against Serbia's aggressive forces.
He has said he did not understand why under the inscription “for the ready homeland” the Montenegrin officer has remained.
