Law that formalises Albanian teaching in diaspora

On the basis of this important law, the ministry responsible for education will establish the state registry of Albanian language teachers and culture abroad and will certificate students after the programme ends. The criteria for establishing the state registry and granting the certificate are approved by the Council of Ministers, with the minister's proposal responsible for education.
Also, another important addition is the involvement of the Ministry's representative responsible for Diaspora at the National Council of Pre-university Education. On Wednesday, at the annual meeting of Albanian and Kosovo diaspora teachers held in Tirana, Diasporas Minister Pandeli Majko said Albanians in the diaspora are heading towards forgetting the Albanian language, as according to Majko, only 10% of Albanian students living abroad learn Albanian.
