Kurti: Special Court is acting only as blackmail against the authorities.

Kurti has said that Vetevendosje continues to be against this court, which according to him does not bring any good to the country.

Today it is three years since the Kosovo Assembly was voted in the 24th Amendment to the Constitution of Kosovo, which opened the way for the establishment of the Special Court. It was this scandalous vote, August 3, 2015, with 82 votes per, 5 against and 1 abstention.

Without a letter otherwise, the nomination for the amendment 24, the Parliament had voted it down on June 26, 2015, so five weeks earlier, when only 75 votes had been voted for, 7 against and 2 abstentions. It is a typical case of failed state, when the republic's main institution, parliament, is not respected, and when the same document is brought for vote, until the outcome of the rulers' wishes is achieved. This has been a mockery of Kosovo's parliament.

Votes for the second time were secured with pressure from internationals and PDK leader on several PDK deputies, who once again testified they were brave and patriotic only to boast. With the opening of the way for the Special Court, Kosovo's local institutions were humiliated and a parallel justice system was built, which has no republican sense and does not provide democratic responsibility to the country and the people from whom it assumes power.

It was said that the Special Court would punish criminals, but here we are, three years have passed, spent about a hundred million euros, but no charges have been filed, and no process has been initiated. Chief Prosecutor David Schöndemann, who was introduced as an ironman who would show the country to powerful criminals, resigned in February 2018 with some strange explanations and complaints. Now it will take months and perhaps even years (but certainly millions more) for him to be able to read all the prepared subjects.

So, the deputies who voted in the Special Court on August 3, 2015, as they usually lied about the positive effects it would bring to Kosovo, and as usual, have concealed the major damage their irresponsible vote caused. The Special Court, except that it is seriously citing Dick Marty's ridiculous claims about the KLA, is acting only as a means of blackmailing some rulers in Kosovo, to make even more concessions with concessions and legislative contracts, whether in terms of sovereignty, where eventually they are rushing for the painful <x0komcomproms with Serbia.

We were against it then, and we are against today. We had predicted all these injustices, deceit, and failures. But such failures for Kosovo can be halted only when no more votes are given for criminals and traitors, for the dishonest and cynical, for the ignorant and the arrogant. Only then will the Parliament, the Government, the Judiciary and all institutions be able to receive the value and weight that is due them in our Third Republic.
