17 times the number of KLA veterans has emerged from Albania, rather than really taking part in the war.
Of the 176, as initially thought to be, the number has ended up in 3,000 veterans, and for that the commander of the operation “Arrow”, Spiro Butka, reports KTV.
Butka heads the KLA veterans' Association in Tirana and has witnessed to prosecutor Blakaj for thousands of false veterans.
Part removed from the indictment of former Special Prosecutor Elez Blakaj
Butka is one of the witnesses in the indictment of the former Blackaj prosecutor, established against 12 members of the government commission for recognition and verification of veteran status.
In addition, there are five people who testify to the enormous increase in veterans, including Sami Lushtaku, former commander of the Drenica Zone.
Blakaj had filed his indictment against 12 people, including former KLA commanders and other officials such as Agim Ceku, Nuredin Lushtaku, Shukumbi Demalij and Shukri Buja.
And Nuredin Lushtaku wrote on Facebook about his involvement in this act, calling it manipulation.
Lushtaku has indicated that he has not signed the list of the so-called “Brigda Hasan Pristina” because he said he has not been on the command line of the Drenica Operative Zone.
According to the indictment, over 19 thousand people have gained veteran status, without even being participants in the war, which annually cost the budget over 38m euros.
The act of former Blackaj prosecutor, for more than a month, remains in the Special Prosecution, while Blakaj, earlier this week, resigned from the institution.
