Following recent statements by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, who compared Croatia to Hitler's time Germany, it is possible that Croatian Serb relations will deteriorate. So writes the Croatian daily Jutarni List, calling to sources within the Croatian government, broadcasts Periscopi.
“Using such terms for a country will be able to reverse good reports between the two countries, as well as cancel the alleged visits of both presidents to both countries”, writes J. List.
According to Croatian officials, the reference Vuciq has made in such terms, comparing Croatia with the Nazis, is being considered a ʹautogolı to the Serbian president.
“Comparing an EU member state to Hitler in an official statement shows that we will not be able to support this country away, although Vuciq has tried to present Serbia as a factor of peace and stability in the region”, Jutarnji writes.
Serbian Lidership has been terrorised with the presence of Israel and the United States of America to mark the anniversary of Operation Storm. It is evident that Vuciq has a variety of internal problems, including the issue of recognising Kosovo, and is buying out time in Serbia with nationalist attitudes. While this remains so, there can be no talks on normalisation of reports between Serbia and Croatia, where high-level meetings between the two countries were scheduled, writes Jutarnji./Periscopi/
