The government still does not have any official stance on the Kosovo issue, but will concentrate on the options on the table, Serbian Prime Minister Anna Brnabiq has said.
“Vucciq is doing its best to reach a solution and I don't think reaching a compromise is near, but we're looking for it and on all sides are concentrated on it. He's trying to solve this problem, Brnabiq said, broadcast Periscope.
Asked about Dacic's statements that partitioning Kosovo would be the best option, she has said these statements were made by Dacic as foreign policy leader, but that the Serbian government has not yet discussed that.
“Anyone can give their opinions, whether there can be a division or not, we'll wait until we get full control in the southern province of”, she said.
She has said she does not know how much it will be possible to reach an agreement with Kosovo by the end of the year, adding that Vuciq is doing everything possible not to leave a frozen conflict to future generations.
However, it does not depend only on President Vuciq, the government will give its support, but it depends on Pristina, as far as they are open in the talks”, she has said.
“I believe an agreement can be reached and those who want the situation to remain in this kind of frozen conflict do not have the courage and have no idea of responsibility”, Brnabiq has said, referring to the opposition in Serbia. /Periscope
