US Ambassador to Serbia Kyle Scott has said Washington is not declared for the agreement between Belgrade and Pristina without it being reached.
He has underlined that President Donald Trump's administration is not expected to drastically change its stance on Kosovo's status.
America's “interests do not differ from president to president. What we've asked from the administration Bush, the Obama administration to the Trump administration, is peace and stability in the region, transformation into democracy, sustainable economy and integration into the European Union, so I don't think our policies will change”, Scott told Radio Belgrade, broadcast Periscopi.
He has said the United States believes that without normalising relations and reaching a long-term agreement between Belgrade and Pristina, there can be no peace and stability in the region.
The resolution of the Kosovo problem belongs to courageous leaders”, Scott has said.
He has said that every statement about war is always a mistake.
