Village residents Kelmendi, the Bolett of Dzeja have voiced opposition to President Thaci's idea.
Kelmendi, Bolett and Dzeja are villages with Albanian populations in the Zvecan municipality.
Their history is ancient. Those living here wouldn't trade their villages for anything.
But an idea of President Thaci has disturbed them.
Elders who have lived in this section for decades say that they do not leave their homeland at any cost.
Kelmendi, it's a village of about 35 houses. Shefs Kelmendi, 80, says they're not gonna let go of this place.
To him the idea of exchanging territories is unacceptable.
Sadie Kelmendi shares the same mind. She says Klemend's union with Serbia would not bring good to anyone.
A few miles away from Kelmendi lies the village of Boltetin, in addition to its natural beauty, the Tower of Isa Boletin is found.
Only six families live in Boletin. The representative of this village says none of these residents will release Boletin.
And the third village in the Zvecan municipality is Zhaza. Mussley Peci, she says she was born here.
We remember that President Thaci is questioning the idea of exchange of territories, if this idea is put into existence, these villages will be handed over to Serbia.
And even that is considered huge wealth for Kosovo, taking into account the appearance and position of these villages.
