99 cars were stolen in Kosovo for six months

Many stolen cars in different Kosovo municipalities have been reported these days. Some from the backyard, from the car wash, and even from the parking lot are some of the cases that have happened to citizens.

One case his car was stolen from the yard is August 12th in Suhareka. “The male K/Albanian victim has reported that at night in his backyard by the unknown person he has stolen cars with local license plates. The case is being investigated by the police units, which are in search of car”, says a police report.

Only during the past year were 223 cars stolen. Unlike last year, however, the number of such cases has declined this year.

In a response to Indexline, the Police Media Office has announced that between January and June of this year, as stolen cars, they figure 99 Sosh.

“Referring to data in the Kosovo Police Information System, we're going to have the number of motorcycles/vetures/Tractors and so on. Which were reported stolen by 2017 ago: The year 2017- 223 figures stolen, 2018 (Janar June) 99 figure it stolen”, their response says.

Police say that thanks to their commitments, the number of auto thefts so far has marked decline.
