This unit provides support during air attacks, mobility and evacuation of the injured while located in Nashville, with partners in Jackson and Louisville
The Tennessee National Guard will locate over 125 soldiers, part of the Helicopter Attack Battalion in Kosovo, as part of NATO forces.
This unit provides support during air attacks, mobility and evacuation of the injured, while located in Nashville, with partners in Jackson and Louisville.
The U.S. Army has been present constantly for 20 years in Kosovo, while in recent years these forces have been led by National Guard”, Major General Max Haston has said.
“Stability in this country is the commitment of the United States of America and NATO, to the Tennesse National Guard has repeatedly helped in this direction”.
In addition to that mission, the National Guard of Tennessee will launch soldiers on two more missions to support NATO presence in Poland.
The 278th delegation of armour will head the Multinational Joint Troop in Ukraine, where it will work with soldiers from Poland and Canada.
