Over 109 thousand unregistered vehicles in Kosovo

Kosovo citizens have over 109 unregistered vehicles, and that is a very high figure in the country.

Sami Mazrek, chairman of the Kosovo Security Association, said there are too many risks from unsanitated vehicles that circulate in communications.

Kosovo has 109 vehicles that are unregistered or circulated in communications”, he told RTK today.

Mazreku estimated that registration of vehicles harms both the state and the insurance companies. Since the post-war, insurance companies in Kosovo have paid about 40 million damages to unregistered vehicles”, he said.

He suggested that Kosovo police have declared 12,000 tickets to unregistered vehicles.
