The president of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, has made a new post on his Facebook account, writes Periscopi.
Thaci has posted a photo with a description saying he spoke with US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs.
He says he has discussed strengthening bilateral relations and for the latest “phase of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia. ”
Kosovo's president is making the ongoing suspension of the final agreement between Kosovo and Serbia.
This is his full post:
“I just had a telephone conversation with US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Wes Mitchell, with whom we discussed strengthening bilateral relations and the final phase of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.
We agreed to intensify dialogue and the necessity of reaching final agreement, legally binding with SerCome on. Dialogue and final agreement are the only way to pave the way for Euro-Atlantic integration for Kosovo and to ensure lasting peace and stability in the Western Balkans.
Kosovo, as always, enjoys firm American support even in the final phase of this difficult but not impossible to conclude by agreement. HTH”
