National Co-ordinator for State Reform Besnik Tahiri has reiterated that there is no division of Kosovo. According to him, Serbia must accept such a reality as soon as possible.
The government official's comments come in response to Serbian Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin's comments.
Serbia was pessimistic about reaching a possible compromise between Kosovo and Serbia in dialogue in Brussels.
Tahiri's full response:
Both Voulin and every Belgrade official must understand that the time of '%compromis has passed and now is the time of accepting reality. And what's the reality:
Kosovo is known by over 100 countries of the world, and now 19 years when we have won the freedom of 10 years from declaring independence the entire political system and institutional regulation of the state is independent.
Otherwise, more than a decade ago, the Contact Group presented three principles that were accurate and very clear:
1. The resolution of Kosovo's status should consolidate regional security and stability. This will ensure that Kosovo does not return to the pre-March 1999 situation.
2. There will be no changes to Kosovo's current territory, which means there will be no division of Kosovo and
3. Kosovo's union with any other state or any part of any other state.
Any tendency to return to the public discurs the word "compromise" is failure and intensity to produce political fog.
In fact, official Belgrade is using it more to calm blood inside, not that they know or that they hope we a new and big co-promis with Kosovo.
