Saudi Arabia to lobby for Kosovo to increase number of recognitions

The conversationators estimated that very good relations between the two countries could and should intensify. In this context, the exchange of high-level visits is very important for developing political dialogue and enhancing economic co-operation between the two countries.
Ruci, on this occasion, expressed Albania's gratitude for recognising Kosovo from Saudi Arabia and urged the promotion of Saudi lobby for recognising its independence by other member states of the Organisation of Islamic Co-operation and the Arab League, the request the ambassador welcomed and expressed his commitment to continue working in this direction.
The Speaker of the Parliament underlined the need for completion and signing agreements between the two governments under way, such as those in the fiscal field, tourism, air transport, in the military field, etc.
He also stressed the need to boost parliamentary co-operation between the two countries.
For his part, Ambassador Abdelmomen Mohammed Sharaf said relations between the two countries could also develop and benefit from Saudi Arabia's 2030 Initiative, which, in addition to the country's development priorities, is also aimed at boosting Saudi Arabia's international economic and trade co-operation.
More Saudi investments in Albania will be supported in this context.
