Hungarian media write that Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijarto has offered aid to Podgorica, and that police leaders have already agreed to offer 25km fences to protect the endangered Montenegrin-Albanian border part, as well as to prevent illegal immigration.
Montenegro's Foreign Minister Srdjan Darmanovic said the Montenegrin government is ready to defend its country against the current wave of migrants that are resulting from Turkey and Greece.
As for Szijártó, he has declared it in the interest of Budapest that the Montenegrin side defends its borders.
“Hungary is ready to give Montenegro all the help, to protect its southern border”, he said.
