Renowned MP and businessman Ramiz Kelmendi was fined last week by the Kosovo Privatisation Agency for 1.3m euros due to the failure to meet a contract to purchase a social asset.
The Kosovo Privatisation Agency via E-mail has clarified the causes of fines against Kosovo Democratic League MP Ramiz Kelmendi in Kosovo.
According to the AKP, the buyer, in this case MP Ramiz Kelmendi, has not met some of the conditions that were envisioned in the contract signed between Kelmendi's company, “ELCOS” and AKP.
One of the terms of the contract, according to the AKP, had been for the buyer to maintain metal production activity for at least three years to come.

Ramiz Kelmendi had sold his company to another person. However, in the contractual agreement between the AKP and Ramiz Kelmendi was meant to do this job by E Company. LCOS and not any other company.
Even this according to the AKP has constituted violations of the agreement, as the contract was originally signed between ELKOS and AKP.
“Development of activity on Elko's behalf, and not as envisioned in the contract to make this activity on behalf of the new Famippa” company, is one of the other violations, AKP's response to the JNK Journal said.
The AKP adds that even after numerous remarks to buyers (Ramiz Kelmendi), the new company has ignored the contractual agreement.
“Despite the fact that even during the 3-year monitoring period, the New Company has not developed its activity that was envisioned under contract terms, and therefore reports, remarks and continued writing requirements from the AKP to change the situation, whether to start with pre-production, the buyer has failed to set aside “secure and ensure that the New Company will fulfil these obligations” that are submitted by contract”, it is said further in the AKP's response to the Lifes in Kosovo.
However, Ramiz Kelmendi had not been impressed by AKP's remarks, and shortly after the three-year pledge deadline had passed, Kelmendi had not yet announced the AKP, had decided to make the disposal of equipment and machinery and has made the object collapse.
One of the terms of the agreement had been that the buyer would not dismantle or dislodge equipment and machinery for at least three years after privatisation.
“It is mandatory that existing equipment and machinery will not be dismantled or dismantled, but will leave at least for the period defined by three (3)x1>, says at one of the other points of the contract, according to AKP's responses given to the Life Journal in Kosovo.
“Right after the end of the three-year period of the purchaser's commitment agreement without even announcing the AKP has made the delocation of equipment and machinery, as well as the total collapse of objects in which it has always developed its NSH “activity. FAMIPA” since 1948”, said further in AKP's answers to the Life Journal in Kosovo.
The AKP says Kelmendi has had to obtain preliminary permission from the Board of Directors to be released from monitoring and released from eventual violations, which clash with specific conditions in the contract.
And the possible sentences were in advance in the contract clause.
The AKP in response to the Life Journal in Kosovo says it is obliged to pay 30% of the sale if contracting duties are violated.
“Blerence and New Company provides and guarantees that the New Company is obliged to pay 30% of the sale price of the New Company “Famippa” Sh.P.K. If the buyer violates contracting duties, with monthly interest worth 2% of that amount, in case the buyer fails to pay his due in the 30 days term by the day of the announcement of the prosecution”, it is further said in AKP's response to the JNK Journal.
In an interview given days earlier for KALLXO.com on the day he was convicted, Ramiz Kelmendi had described this as political damage, without even specifying who he is referring to, claimed to be people of a political party leading with the AKP.
“Knows that workers The AKP, all are political party workers and is known which political party belongs to”, Kelmendi had said.
He even called it a robbery against him, on the part of the AKP.
However, according to the AKP, the Board of Directors is appointed by the Assembly of Kosovo, while for other workers within the framework of civilian servants, they say they have carried out all the recruiting procedures under the laws in force.
The company was privatised in September 2011, worth 3m and 900 thousand euros, while the deadline for the agreement ended on September 13th 2014.
This company included the approximately 29,401 m2 surface factory (earth of approximately 22.647 m2 and surface objects of approximately 6.754 m2) and an area of approximately 23.05 m2. This company's buyer is “Elkos Group” St. P.K and DPA “The Bajrami” is said in the AKP's response to the Life Journal in Kosovo.
Last week in defense Ramiz Kelmendi had also come up with the Kosovo Economic Oda through its leader, Safet Gerjaliu, who had called this sentence political.
When such a company is hit directly in this way for the sake of either political or revanscism, whether party is the greatest misery that harms Kosovo even in terms of Exstern”, it had declared Gerjaliu, at a media conference where officials in attendance had also attended E Company. LCOS.
Ramiz Kelmendi is also charged with theft of electricity.
Kelmendi is now deputy of the Democratic League of Kosovo, while in the past he had been part of two other parties, AAK and PDK.
