While Institutions and the people of Rwanda are marking the 56th anniversary of their National Day I want to convey the most sincere wishes for lasting peace, long-term stability and prosperity to the people. Rwanda has taken major steps in developing the country and remains one of the fastest growing economies in Central Africa, with GDP growth of about 8 percent over the past few years. Both our peoples have experienced the worst horrors ever. So it is time, between two countries and our people, to open up new bridges of co-operation and call on representatives of the state of Rwanda to reconsider the decision of the quickest recognition of the Republic of Kosovo”, Pacolli has said.
