The Democratic Party, the Albanian opposition and civil society are determined not to allow the collapse of the building and the establishment on public grounds, of the giant towers of a private firm. All sides have considered the corrupt process initiated by Prime Minister Edi Rama and with a profit of over 200m euros.

The opposition and I will personally be at the side of artists and citizens to the end! ”
T H ALENCE'S ERER TO THE KING OF THE TEATTER:
Parliament has put the vote into Thursday's session with accelerated procedure the most shameful procedure in the history of parliamentarians. The bill envisions the collapse of the National Theatre, which is part of the historic ansemble of central Tirana and the symbol of national identity, as well as the passage of over 8,000 m2 public land owned by the Field Company.spk, which is authorised to build multistory towers there.
This bill is contrary to the Constitution and a series of other laws of Albania. Artists, activists, intellectuals and citizens have been protesting this madness for months, which if it turns into reality risks permanently eliminating one of the oldest and most significant buildings in Tirana, as well as granting it the most valuable public land to a private company.

On Thursday, we will face the Parliament to strongly oppose foolishness and greed. We can stop them if you join them!
