The law on ratification of the third-read agreement with Greece is the only point of the agenda at the 54th Assembly session.
On June 20th, Macedonian Parliament deputies with 69 votes “for” adopted the law for the first time, and the same day the law was sent to President Ivanov, who, within the pre-term by law, announced that he would not sign the law decree.
For the Law to ratify the agreement with Greece to be passed today “pro” must vote on 61 MPs and again must be sent to the president, who, this time under the Constitution, is obliged to sign it.
It is expected that even after the second vote in the Assembly, Gjorge Ivanov will not sign the law and act the same as the Law for the Use of Languages, using the so-called <x0veton of the pocket”.
