Russian President Vladimir Putin and US counterpart Donald Trump at a meeting in Helsinki on 16 July will discuss the situation in Syria in detail.
This was announced today by Russian diplomacy chief Sergei Lavrov.
“in Helsinki, all issues related to Syria will be discussed,” said Lavrov.
He also stated that the Moscow and Washington agreement exists that he and State Secretary Mike Pompeii meet after the two presidents' summit.
Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs voiced hope that the Putin-Trump meeting would serve as a platform for what he called a sincere discussion on all issues weighing on American-Russian relations.
