Qatar's National Committee for the Protection of Human Rights (NHRC) has said that the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) and the UN special competent human rights rapporteur and religious freedom sent a letter through which it requires that the natives from Qatar be granted religious freedom in Saudi Arabia.
The letter says that the official Doha is concerned about the fact that authorities in Riyadh have not taken a positive step towards removing the ban on pilgrimages from this Gulf country.
We prefer that Saudi Arabia urgently take the necessary measures so that Qatari pilgrims have the same conditions and freedoms in performing religious rites”, said the letter signed by the mayor Ali ibn Samih al-Key's NHRC, follow AA.

Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain last year broke ties and blocked airspace and land borders with Qatar, which they accuse of “supporting terrorism”.
