Justice Minister Abelard Tahiri in the parliamentary debate on dialogue with Serbia has said that the Vetevendosje Movement and Albin Kurti should not be part of the dialogue, as they have always fought every process of state-building Kosovo.
“I believe that the Vetevendosje Movement and Albin Kurti do not do and should not be part of the dialogue because it has fought any process of Kosovo statehood. So it's my opinion that will protect him. Stay in your positions as opposed to dialogue, stay in your position in fighting Kosovo's constitutional order... while, as far as the LDK has been concerned, these too have some vice-presidents who have come up with different ideas, one looking for territory in exchange, the other is coming in before this process, and then we'll talk about how we're going to go further”, Tahir said.
The minister reacted to Vetevendosje MP Albulen Haxhiu.
The “for the Vetevendosje parliamentary group is unacceptable that a justice minister at the folk gets the role of a Hashim Thaci militant. This gentleman who spoke here until yesterday held Hashim Thaci's bag and I understand why he's frustrated but it's not okay to slander for Vetevendosje”, she said.
