The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MPJ) at the end of 2017 has had a balance of spending or unfinished advances in diplomatic and consular missions worth 331 thousand and 700 euros.
This balance for the previous years, according to the report, has been 211 thousand and 107 euros, while for last year it has been 120 thousand and 593 euros. The audience has also given reasons for this balance, writes Koha Ditore today.
“Referring to the attached notes in the annual financial mirrors, this balance comes as a result of cracks between inflows and unregistered exits in Kosovo diplomatic missions, including unregistered spending, inflow and unregistered reimbursement, the gap due to exchange courses, mistakes in records etc.”, says the ZKA report.
According to the report, after commitments to financial drawbacks, MPJ had identified some of the causes of this created state, but that there has not yet been a complete evidence of this unfinished balance.
That's the question that in the report was highlighted among the other 16 issues the audience found in the MPJ. “The emphasis on the issue reflects weaknesses in managing the spending of diplomatic and consular missions, as well as failure to close or reason for the spending of the previous years”, the report said.
The minister has been asked to analyse the reasons for stressing this issue and to identify actions required to avoid weaknesses in the field of wages and in managing the expenses of Kosovo diplomatic missions.
