again, charges of falsifications and non-merital advancements at the UPP

The candidate for assistant professor at the Faculty of Mathematical-Natural Sciences (FSHMN), Miribane Drimaku-Sopijan, is accusing the dean of this faculty, Tahir Arbneshi, of having influenced the assessment commission to prevent him from advancing to the Pristina University's recent competition. She says the dean has promoted Commission Chairman Ismet Hashan and member [...]
She says the dean has urged Commission Chairman Ismet Hashani and Commission member Ramiz Hoti to vote against her, although with the UPP station of the dean there is no right to interfere in such matters, Koha Ditore writes today.
The candidate Sopijan has accused these two people of violating the UPI statue by recommending a person who fails to meet the criteria. In addition, she says candidate Ismaili forged documents when she was accepted as an assistant in 2004.
The paper has provided a document by the Council of FHN in 2004, when Hamit Ismaili has been elected as an assistant for the first time. In this document the date of his birth is 23.04.1976, while in the faculty's bulletin for his actual birth contest is 23,04 1973.
Candidate Dhimaku-Sopyan says Ismaili has forged this date to exceed the age criterion (as she applied for the first time has been over the age allowed for admission as an assistant).
The paper has attempted to contact candidate Hamit Ismaili to take a stand over the disagreement of his date of birth in documents, but he has not opened the phone. The positive assessment of Hamit Ismaili, who has been voted by the two members of the FSHMF assessment commission, has been approved at the end of the week by the faculty council.
The Dean of the FSHMN, Tahir Arbneshi, did not comment on whether he influenced the Commission so that Drmaku-Sopian could not advance. According to him, the assessment Commission has presented the faculty Council with two reports of assessments. In one report, two members of the Commission have voted pro-election of Hamit Ismaili, while in the next report Arlette Rifat has voted in favour of electing Soopyan.
