It has called on Kosovo Customs to publicise companies to import milk powder and the amount they import to see the effects of these safeguards.
There's “in the protection of local production, but also in the protection of local quality products. I call on Kosovo Customs to make public the list of companies that import milk dust and the amount that import”, Bajrami wrote in a response to FB.
The safeguard clauses that don't include the entire production chain are the benefits of certain groups, that's easy to prove, we have cases in practice.”, she added.
She has said protection measures should not be taken only for flour, not for wheat as the same logic may lead to the idea that the “ullis are Kosovo's, but not even farmers”.
“We're importing flour but wheat. What's that? The millers are ours, but not the farmers. Let's split the sugar jar”, Bajrami wrote.
