Americans have sent a framework document to Belgrade weeks ago, prepared by the East West Institute ʹ, which documnets, according to the most independent newspaper in Serbia, Danas, clearly says the Brussels dialogue should bring recognition of Kosovo on Serbia's part.
Danas further writes that, Prime Minister Anna Brnabyc was a guest of this influential American institute, the East-West Institute, which prepared the document on the Kosovo issue, which was introduced to Belgrade last month.
In the document “The timing for action in the Western Balkans ʹ recommendations for American diplomacy” writes that the US should encourage the European Union to resume Kosovo's dialogue with Serbia so that “will halt the slow slide in a frozen conflict”.
While NATO membership under this document would have to remain the option for Serbia, but that US expectations should be low due to NATO's past operations in the region, as well as due to the likely Russian opposition.
On the other hand, in Kosovo the position and opposition are failing to find a consensus for unity in this new phase of dialogue with Serbia, which is expected to close an open issue of a century between the Serbian and Albanian people.
