Those accused of corruption and extortion do not spoil the comfort at NFF, until September does not appear before Court

Agim Ademi, the first days of his work as president of the Kosovo Football Federation, will not have to face charges of corruption filed against him years ago.

Although, before coming to the helm of the NFF, the Pristina Constitutional Court had scheduled that July 19th, Ademi and the other co-accused for extortion and obligation be brought to trial, the same court has announced that this session was postponed.

The annulment of this judicial review, according to the Pristina Court's spokeswoman, was made at the request of Adam's defence, four days before the accused was voted into chairman by the extraordinary NFF assembly.

Former NFF vice president Agim Ademi was elected president of this federation on 6 July. He was the only candidate in this race, in the extraordinary NFF country to be held a few weeks after the death of legend Fadil Vokry.

In 2012, Adam had kept 30 days in custody, having been accused of corruption and extortion.

In fact, his custody was also determined because of the possible threat of witnesses to the case in question.

Besides Ademi, accused were businessman Muharrem Rama, and former Pristina Parliament Speaker Sami Hamiti.

Businessmen Agim Ademi and Muharrem Rama from Pristina were caught in a recording seeking bribes on behalf of Pristina's former Communist Assembly Chief Sami Hamit.
