He has announced that the party's leading bodies -- the Steering Council, the Council General and the Chairman -- will be elected in the autumn.
Wessel has not indicated whether he will run for another term, but has said that the party chairman must have counterCandids. He has said the counterCandidate should not be formal, and that in the PDK, they are not pushed to the chair.
“It is necessary that there be counterCandids for party heads and that he is not formal, since in the PDK we are not pushing for chair”, Wessel has expressed at the media conference, broadcast news.net.
He has said that the electoral process is now under way in the branches of youth, where, according to him, there has been great concern and seriousness.
Wessel has said the PDK will give space to young people.
