Vuciq for the Brussels meeting: Sunday will be difficult

Serbia's President Aleksandar Vujciq has said that on Sunday, in continuing dialogue with Kosovo, it will be difficult and has added that Belgrade will defend Serbia's position, protect its people's country and try to compromise. As the newspaper” blic” puts it, Vuciq said the meeting [...]

As the newspaper” blic” puts it as the occasion for our position to be heard, there will be a chance to fight for our country to respect the other side and willingly reach the solution.

In the question of whether Serbia will resolve the passport issue, because Kosovo Serbs cannot travel without visas, Vuciq replied that the problem exists, but Brussels has stopped it several times.

I believe we will find a solution, most people have solved this problem by appearing from another country. We'll see how we'll find technical solutions to this matter”, he's cleared up.

Vucic has added that Serbia allocates more than 500m euros annually to its (Serbs) residents in Kosovo.

He has said the state works to preserve Serbs in Kosovo through projects such as the Valley of the Sun.

“However, young people are not leaving Kosovo only, but also other parts of Serbia” from Belgrade, he has said.
