Serbian media report with sources that EU High Representative for Foreign Policy and Security Federica Moghrini wants until the end of its mandate in November 2019, Belgrade and Pristina to fully normalise their relations.
According to Danas sources, Moghrini, middleman in the Brussels dialogue, considers it must set off “to finalise the top of her career” and <x2nd> with all forces is trying to reach agreement in the next phase of negotiations, which will begin soon.
While, according to Kurir, Moghrin can take over the post for NATO Secretary General, and therefore insists that Belgrade and Pristina sign an agreement on normalising relations.
Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic told Kurir: “I know Moghrin wants to enter the race for NATO Secretary General ... It is possible that her haste for Belgrade and Pristina to reach agreement by the end of the year, because she wants the team to go in the campaign for the first NATO”, he said.
Maja Kocijancic, Moghrin's spokeswoman, said yesterday it is not known when the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina will continue at a high level.
Kocijancic at a regular conference in Brussels said the date has not yet been set for the upcoming meeting between the two presidents, Hashim Thaci and Aleksandar Vuciq.
