While in Pristina, mosquito detection continues, citizens are facing a large number of ticks.
So far more than 130 cases of being bitten by ticks have been reported, has not resulted in infections. As for the disinfection, it will continue from 7:30 to 24: 00 a.m. each day.
This year it's not just Malisheva, Rahoveci, Suhareka, and Klina to be found in the stable areas. This year the capital of Pristina is being characterised by the large number of citizens bitten by the ticks. 135 cases were registered only in May.
Although the Pristina region is not recognised for infectious ticks, areas where bite cases are most frequently reported are different parks, including gardens and nests.
The municipality says there is neither budget nor competency for the disposal of the ticks.
