Who is postponing Kosovo's division, and what would Serbia gain?

Russia will be the biggest winner of Kosovo's division because it wants to use this precedent for legitimising their projects in Ukraine and Georgia, but will have even greater space to join the former republics of the Soviet Union. One of the main reasons is that they [...]
In essence, this is how things are done if Kosovo is divided. A multiplanet idea of the distribution of different circles and not only political in Serbia, today is a model that absolutely fits several other countries.
Alexander Chepurin, the Russian ambassador to Belgrade, said that “Russia would accept the partition of Kosovo if Serbia considered it the best solution to the”, he openly supported the idea. Basically, it actually indirectly presented Moscow's position, which has been known in diplomatic circles before.
Why does Russia postpone partitioning Kosovo? Why, though, does Moscow postpone that solution, and is it possible? Who wins, and who loses in partitioning Kosovo?
The division of Kosovo has Russia's support since the start of negotiations. By dividing Kosovo, which would be a precedent in world politics, Russia would consolidate its positions in Georgia (South Ossetia and Abkhazia), Ukraine (Krime and Donbas). However, not just there. It is also clear that Moscow would use Kosovo's precedent for dividing territory, sharing and joining the spaces where Russians live in former Soviet careers and in which they are now independent states.
So far, Russia has already justified its interventions in Georgia and Ukraine by only referring to the Kosovo precedent. If in one part of the world, and especially in Europe, is the signing of a division of territory, Russia needs this action to then consolidate its positions and not only in Georgia.
The so-called right to self-rule, which Albanians used, is also one of the main Russian influences, where Russian politics demands not only in former Soviet space but also in Europe.
There are currently many developments in the EU on this topic; Romania does not hide ambition over Moldova, but a much greater influence on a part of Ukraine and a part of eastern Serbia that encourages Vlachs to declare themselves Romanians, reports Serbian medium “Blic”, Periscopi broadcast.
Bulgaria does not give up Macedonia as its western territory, only that Macedonia is in a problem where Albanians can seek partition, and Albania is working to unify all Albanians.
First, sharing in the West is not an option. The main diplomacy in Belgrade is not a silent stance. Neither the EU nor the US wants, nor is it intended, to allow clean territory in the Balkans, and that is their main argument.
Although it is difficult to talk about Kosovo's true multiethnicity after the 1998 persecution in 1999. According to them, Kosovo has only a future as a multiethnic “space”.
In one country, Albanians and Serbs live. The first existence of Serbs in southern Orthodox churches shows that Kosovo can more easily be accepted as a country of cultural and ethnic diversity in Europe. Second, multiethnicity is a protection to turn Kosovo into a clean Muslim territory.
Epilogue Serbs from the South have nothing more to ask for. With partition, however, Serbia would take its share north, and the southern part would belong to Albanians. The logic of the Albanian community is simple. Serbs took their pieces on our territory. That's why Serbs south of Ibër have nothing to ask for. The diplomat of one of the most powerful Western states tells Serbian media “Blic” that the idea of a division due to Russian influence is blowing not only in Serbia, but also in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The rest of Bosnia as a Muslim space that would radicalise, as it would have been in Kosovo, is not an acceptable solution for any EU country, regardless of the independence of Kosovo territory, the diplomat says.
However, it is not just a matter of avoiding clean ethnic spaces. Among the main reasons for Western resistance, particularly American, in Kosovo and Bosnia, is what they see as an attempt to destabilise Russia's EU and threaten NATO interests. The entire border change process would potentially threaten NATO's southern arm and open gaps that Russia would welcome.
America, as one of the most prominent opponents, does not want to divide Kosovo because it would provoke a domino effect in Bosnia.
What's left behind the Russians?
Here we come to a part for Serbia. Although little is said of the number of residents in Kosovo and the exact number of Serbs and Albanians is dramatically different, the fact is that most of the Serbian population -- about 70 percent -- live south of Ibri. According to estimates, the largest natural wealth of the Serbian people today is in Kosovo. South of Ibr are the most important churches, monasteries, generally cultural heritage.
In northern Kosovo, there are actually no old-guarded churches, and all monasteries were later built or restored from the ruins. Shortly after the bombings, the Russians entered Pristina airport and the idea was to divide Kosovo into two occupation areas such as Germany. The Russians would keep most Serbian and NATO the Albanian majority.
The airport was to be the main basis for the arrival of other Russian forces. NATO prevented the move, and Jelcen had no desire to cause a conflict. And then, because of the then economic crisis in Russia, they just left Kosovo./Periscopi/
