At the LDK's weekly media conference, the main topic was the platform for dialogue with Serbia, which is expected Monday to go to the Assembly.
LDK parliamentary group chief Avdullah Hoti stated that for his party, it is not important who leads this process, but the topics and format of discussions.
“There is no question of granting anyone's mandate, what top LDK officials have said is that we will not escape state responsibilities. Before Monday we will discuss it widely and take the stand. The theme of who should lead the talks is not the most important topic, we must agree on the format, topics”, Hoti said.
He praised Thaci as not an ideal man to lead the dialogue, but added that the LDK would play its constructive role in the matter as well.
Hoti also presented some statistics that, according to him, show the small credibility of citizens in government and president.
And it turns out that trust in institutions has never been lower. 62% believe the country is going in the wrong direction. 70% have estimated the government has done poor work, 24% believe in the government. The two main problems are unemployment and corruption”, the LDK MP chief said.
He further criticised the government for appointing co-ordinators, which he praised as abuse of public money.
