The current situation in this company, Vetevendosje Chairman Albin Kurti says it is due to organised crime and high corruption.
The current “situation in Telekom is a consequence of organised crime and high corruption. State officials and private businessmen have benefited. The man who has warned organised crime in Kosovo Telecom is pro Ismet Hamiti. In his letter to the state prosecution, he denounced the responsible. The prosecution acted by immediately investigating”, Kurti has declared.
On the other hand, telecommunications expert Ismet Hamiti says Telekom's situation is in the hands of the state prosecution, which he blames for lack of will in performing the job he is paid for.
The state's “Procurory has in its hands to save Kosovo Telecom. The telecom is in bad shape that it cannot even cover its current expenses. Telecom profits have been constantly looted. All post-war governments, including the current government, are responsible for this situation. The prosecution is not investigated to denounce this action. The prosecution has no will to do the job they are paid for, Hamiti has declared.
