Kosovo respects EU recommendations for opening borders with Albania

Gashi said they are looking at opportunities to create as much conveniences as possible through joint patrols and increased checkpoints.
Regarding the resolution adopted in the Kosovo Assembly for the comprehensive opening of control at three border checkpoints with Albania, Gashi said they would look into opportunities for implementation, given international obligations as well.
Ambassador Minxhozi, who also spoke of increasing the exchange of goods between the two countries, likewise said.
Parasely, Gashi's Minxhozi remained at the newly opened entry point in Shistavec in Dragas, which is intended to internationalise.
