The event for Mother and Child along with partner Raiffeisen Bank in Kosovo is marking June 1st, International Children's Day, slightly different! Today, they made the delivery of the Ehosonograph device to the University Clinical Centre of Kosovo, which will enable a new service for children at the Neonatology Clinic in Pristina, thus conveying the order of child protection and promotion of health rights.
A media report says that the Ehosonograph device allows for the diagnosis of all heart disease in babies, internal bleeding, infections, central nervous system abnormalities, urogjinal abnormalities, the functioning of the intestines, and many other diseases. With the delivery of Ehosonography, this service and diagnosis will now be available at the Neonatology Clinic at KKUK.
Health Minister Uran Ismaili took advantage of the occasion that through the inauguration of the donation of the device, he would share his special thanks to the health staff of the Neonatology Clinic for their unspoiled work towards providing very quality medical services, where he at one time stressed the Ministry's commitment to continued support.
“Banka Raiffeisen has consistently paid particular attention to health support. Since health is a more specific area, our cooperation with the organization has helped us greatly Mother and Children event, through which we have made this donation. We are very pleased that this device will enable the Neonatological Clinic to provide new services that have not been offered so far, while Raiffeisen Bank will continue to look for additional opportunities to help health, Robert Wright, director of Raiffeisen Bank in Kosovo, said.
The inauguration of Ehosonography device will allow for the first time to provide the diagnostic service of many diseases and anomalies in children at the KKKU Neonatology Clinic, and as a result, to help save the lives of children in the country.
