Of the outcasts were about 600 Afghans. And in another camp, two miles near the canal, or at the port of Port de Poissonniers, some 400 Africans were evacuated, said “Dayil”, the Periscope broadcast.
“In no case was there resistance ) some of the involved have fully co-operated”, a charitable worker said.
In this area two men drowned after gang clashes, thus increasing pressure on authorities to act.
Most of the immigrants come from Sudan, Somalia, Eritrea and made dangerous trips across Africa before taking ships from Libya to the European continent./Periscopi/
